The Florida Division of Emergency Management Mitigation Bureau is requiring the submittal of a Notice of Interest (NOI) form.

Grant: Flood Mitigation Assistance

Deadline: August 29, 2025, at 5:00 PM (EDT)

Ahead of the anticipated Fiscal Year (FY) 2025 application period for the Flood Mitigation Assistance (FMA) program, the Florida Division of Emergency Management Mitigation Bureau is requiring the submittal of the attached Notice of Interest (NOI) Form by 5 PM EDT on August 29, 2025.

Please note that you may submit your NOI form as soon as it is complete. Forms will be reviewed in the order they are received. The goal of the form is to help determine project eligibility and provide feedback for potential sub-applications to reduce review time later.   • Floodproofing
  • Retrofit
  • Aquifer Recharge, Storage and Recovery
Cost Share:
  • General cost share is 75% Federal and 25% Non-federal, with select exceptions.
Requirements:
  • Good Standing with the NFIP.
  • Activity included in an approved and active LMS plan.
  • Some activities require valid Flood insurance police before January 2025.
  • Other documentation depends on the activity.
