BLOUNTSTOWN HIGH SCHOOL

NFPS’s role in this project included the site plan engineering design for the construction of a brand new high school facility which included eight new buildings, sanitary sewer system, potable water system, fire protection system, and storm sewer system which included one storm water management facility.

This project also involved permitting through Florida Department of Environmental Protection Potable Water Division, Florida Department of Environmental Protection Sanitary Sewer Division. A Northwest Florida Water Management District Environmental Resource Permit and a City of Blountstown site plan approval were both obtained.

Additional items that were addressed within the design of this new facility were relocating the football field and bleachers, and providing ingress and egress for school buses and student drivers. Construction was completed in 2011.
