I-10 Design Build
This $32 Million design-build project for the FDOT was a partnership between NFPS and Anderson Columbia Construction. It included major improvements to I-10 in the Osceola National Forest to prevent future flooding of the interstate travel lanes during extreme rainfall events. Major items of work were raising the interstate profile grade by over a foot, hydraulic jacking an existing bridge to provide good vertical clearance, construction of many large box culverts, complicated maintenance of traffic, and extensive permitting.
