In June of 2012, the Town of White Springs had considerable damage as a result of flash flooding due to Tropical Storm Debby. NFPS assisted the Town with funding applications to the USDA NRCS and FEMA to pay for repairs to three (3) streets that were completely washed out. We were able to secure funding to upgrade the culverts and replace the missing sections of roadway on First Street, Kendrick Street, and Jewett Street. NFPS also provided engineering design, permitting, bidding and negotiations, CEI and Construction management for the Emergency Repair and Hazard Mitigation Project.
